Numerical and Experimental Investigation on Flow Field of the Turbine Stage under Different Axial Gaps

In order to reduce efficiency losses and improve the aerodynamic of axial turbines used in industry, flow fields turbine stage were investigated numerically experimentally under different gaps this work. The influence on unsteadiness field distribution is discussed. results show that increases when distance reduced. difference entropy distances are mainly found section from stator inlet rotor inlet: not only has a better time-average performance, but also transient performance working conditions with small distance. Additionally, maximum disturbance amplitudes located near trailing edge leading rotor, respectively. Compared wake upstream downstream adjacent reverse more sensitive change blade spacing.
